Day 5 - Full day in Chiang Mai, the 'rose of the north'. Visit to craftsmen villages then climb to the temple of Doi Suthep which, at 1,050-meter high, commands a stunning view of the city. Kantoke dinner of northern cuisine and traditional dances.
Day 6 - Day-trip to the elephant training camp where one can witness both the working and playing skills of these lovable animals. Visit to the magnificent orchid farms. Continuation to the Golden Triangle where the Burmese, Laotian and thai borders meet. Cruise along the Mekong river. Return to Chiang Rai. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7 - Transfer to the airport and flight to Bangkok. Check in at the hotel. Visit of the Royal palace, the marble Buddha and Po temple, renown for its traditional massage school and for its huge reclining Bouddha. Return to the hotel at the end of the day. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 8 - After breakfast, departure for the beach of your choice; Hua Hin, Samui, Phuket or Pattaya and its new hotel.
Day 1 - Arrival in Bangkok. Transfer to hotel. Lunch in restaurant and excursion to the canals for a taste of local life and to visit of the temple of Dawn (visits depending on flight schedule). Dinner and night at hotel.
Day 2 - Drive to Damnoen Saduack ( 70 km away from Bangkok). Visit of the floating market by boat. Continuation to Kanchanaburi. Visit of the world-famous bridge over the river Kwai. Train along the river and stop at the war museum. Dinner and overnight in hotel.
Day 3 - Departure from Kanchanaburi to Ayuthaya. Visit of the main temples, such as Yae Chai Mongkon and Phanang Choen. Proceed to Lopburi for lunch and visit the Khmer-era Phra Kan temple also called "the temple of monkeys". Travel to Pitsanulok. Dinner and night.
Day 4 - Morning alms round by the monks to collect food from Buddhist devotees and departure for Sukhothai. Arrival at Sukhothai and visit of the historical park. Departure to Chiang Mai. On the way, stopover at Lampang to visit Phra Veo Don Tao temple. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Chiang Mai.
